Outside, work is progressing on the supporting structures for the decks.

Steel C-channel joists are
installed atop large I-beams.

C-channel is welded in place
around the edge of the deck.

Viewed from the master bedroom,
the portion of the deck that will be screened in
is in the foreground.

The portion of the deck that will remain open
is seen from the dining room.

The completed support structure for
the main decks is seen here
from the livingroom.

Seen from the living room, the guest bedroom deck
is welded where it joins the main deck.
Stairs will descend to ground level on the left.

Viewed from the guest bedroom,
the private guest deck has easy access to the
main deck and the stairs to ground level.

At the other end of the house,
the deck adjoining the master
bedroom and bath is under way.

Viewed from the southwest, the decks can be seen
extending toward the river. The guest bedroom deck
is nearest to the camera on the left. The nearest portion
of the main deck extending toward the river
to the right will be left open. Beyond
that the deck will be screened in.
