Delivery day!

We worked with our architect, Matt Bachardy to design a contemporary "green" home that incorporates aspects of traditional Texas ranch homes (more on this later). One of the technologies that we are employing is insulated concrete construction. On June 30th, the foam blocks used in this construction were delivered.

We also are installing a rainwater collection system which will provide us with a better tasting, more reliable source of water than our well. The system incorporates two surge tanks under the house to store water if it arrives faster than our 100 gallon per minute pump can send it up the hill to our 15,000 gallon cistern.
