Another delivery day!

On August 7, our fiberglass 14 foot diameter, 13 foot high, 15,000 gallon rainwater cistern arrived.

As mentioned earlier, we are installing a rainwater collection system which will provide us with a better tasting, more reliable source of water than our well. The system incorporates two surge tanks under the house to store water if it arrives faster than our 100-gallon-per-minute pump can send it up the hill to the cistern.
