Final details...

A lot of small details came together before we moved in on November 15, 2003. We still have a lot of little things to take care of, but it's a joy to be living in this house...finally!

For the driveway, we used StoneyCrete™,
a new pervious concrete product that allows
rainwater to reach the tree roots...

...and prevents washout and soil runoff into the river
during heavy rainfalls ("gully washers").

As we settle in we're finding that the house is very comfortable,
and provides a feeling of close contact with the outdoors.
