A finished roof at last...

Our Galvalume standing seam roof went on surprisingly quickly during the first week of April. Galvalume is considered to be a lifetime roof, and it is the best roof to use for collecting rainwater.

It also is very much at home in the Texas Hill Country where metal roofs have been common for many decades.

Now, most of the work is going on inside the house, and it's not very photogenic...

...and on top of the hill, more work has been done for the rainwater collection system, and our masonary stone is unloaded because the large truck couldn't safely negotiate our steep driveway.
